My Journey to Dreaming Lotus Massage

Hi, I’m Heather Whitworth, and I want to share my story of starting Dreaming Lotus Massage in Platte

 City, Missouri. My journey began in a completely different world—as a hairstylist. While I appreciated

 the creativity and connection that came with that career, I soon realized that the chaotic salon

 environment wasn’t where my heart truly belonged. I craved something different, something that

 would allow me to provide peace and relaxation rather than the hustle and bustle of a busy salon.

That’s when I decided to pursue massage therapy. I enrolled in massage school, and the moment I

 stepped into that nurturing environment, I knew I had found my calling. There’s something incredibly

 fulfilling about helping others feel better, both physically and emotionally. Massage therapy became a

 spiritual journey for me, allowing me to connect deeply with my clients and nurture their well-being.

After completing my training, I worked for various companies, gaining valuable experience and honing

 my skills. However, I felt a strong urge to create something of my own—a space where I could truly

 make a difference. So, I took a bold step and launched my own massage practice right in the heart of Platte City.

Starting a small business is no small feat, especially as a single mom who was rebuilding my life after a

 divorce. I faced numerous challenges, but my passion for massage and my commitment to my clients

 fueled my determination. I wanted to focus all my energy on making Dreaming Lotus Massage a success.

I’ve been thrilled to see my practice grow. The glowing reviews from my clients warm my heart and

 reaffirm that I’m on the right path. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that I’m making a positive impact on their lives.

As I look ahead to 2025, I’m filled with optimism. I can’t wait to continue sharing the power of massage

 and bodywork with my clients, helping them improve their quality of life. This journey has been
